Media Accreditation

The Mount Isa Mines Rodeo requires media organisations, freelancers with commissions and news agencies to apply for a limited number of media accreditation to attend the 2024 event.

If your application is successful, you will be an accredited media representative which demonstrates to local venues and event stakeholders that you are a member of the media covering the event.

You will receive media information and an official accreditation pass to be collected on arrival at the event.

Accredited media will have access to the following:

• Festival information
• Competitors and other event personalities for interviews, photographic and filming opportunities
• Official media briefings
• Assistance with arranging media requests, provision of high res images etc.
• Entry to specified event venue areas
• A media & information kit will also be provided with the accreditation pass
